reese | 6 months

Reese is a very active 6 month old! She is just so happy all of the time, it seems. I have a feeling she'll be walking before too long. I first met Reese's mom, Whitney, at Chase & Cressie's wedding. Whitney was one of the lovely bridesmaids! It was so fun to hang out with Miss Reese last week!

Meet Reese! Look how happy and excited she is!

I love Reese's big, dark eyes!

Whitney said that Reese just discovered her feet, so she was doing this a lot during our shoot...

madelyn | newborn

Madelyn is a beautiful little girl! I think Brian and Kylie expected her to sleep most of the shoot because she had just eaten, but she did just the opposite. She's learning how to have her picture taken from her big sister, Kalie. Kalie seems to be quite the pro when it comes to posing and smiling for the camera, and she apparently even steals mommy's camera at times to take photos on her own. Who knows, maybe I'll hire her to be my assistant someday! ha! Kalie is quite proud of her new baby sister, and neither of them could possibly be any more adorable!

Meet the newest member of the Raymond family, Madelyn Kate!

Her eyes followed my camera around...as if she's had her picture taken before:)

Her onesie says "love me." I'm sure that hasn't been as issue:)!!

my.test.subject

I JUST got some new lighting equipment in, and I was excited to take some test shots. My only problem is that I'm here alone, and I can't really see how I'm shooting unless I have a LIVE subject. Sure, I could shoot a lamp, or a water bottle, or a chair, but that's boring. Luckily my assistant was awake and up for doing a few poses for me. It was completely dark in my new office when I shot this (yes, I have a brand new office...more photos to come on that once it's completely finished). The goal is for it to look just like my natural-light work. I guess for a first try, this is not bad! It helps that my assistant happens to be really cute...
