liv | 4 months

Oh, Miss Liv. What can I say...you're just darling like I knew you would be with parents like Kory & Leah! You might remember these two from their maternity shoot back in the Fall. And I KNOW you didn't forget about the pugs, Oliver and Sofia! Yep, those two crazy k9s made an appearance in Liv's shoot too! All three "kids" are so adorable!

Meet Liv at 4 months old! Liv doesn't lack in clothes or accessories!

I'm in love... I especially love the look on Oliver's (left) face. He's not crazy about being in the photo, and he doesn't really trust me all that much if you can't tell by the expression!! Ha!

So sweet...

My favorite. Liv did this pose all on her own!

i'm flattered!

**PART TWO OF THIS INTERVIEW WAS JUST POSTED! CHECK IT OUT HERE!

Well, I'm completely honored and flattered. I was approached by a photographer in the UK, Christian Ward, who apparently loves to visit my blog and view the work I'm continuously posting. A while back, Christian asked if I'd be willing to do an interview with him as well as supply him with some of my favorite images so that he could do a blog feature on me. "ME?" I thought to myself. I told him I'd be honored to answer his questions. He's making it a two part-er on his blog, so right now you can go checkout interview #1. Interview #2 will be on his site soon! Thanks for checking it out!

my nieces | claire, lyza & hazel

Girls, girls, girls. Poor Brian (my brother-in-law) is in a house full of women. FOUR to be exact. While I'm only kidding (and I'm sure he'd testify that they're the lights of his life), you can't help but feel just a tiny bit sorry for the guy. Ha! He's such a great sport though!! Jess and Brian welcomed their newest addition to the family just two short weeks ago. They named her Hazel Elizabeth DeShong--even Jude and I were in the delivery room to witness her being born (more on that below)!!

My mom, sister and I often joke that even though I obviously do their shoots for free (because afterall, they're the cutest little girls around), it is still going to cost Jess and Brian a small fortune to clothe three girls and the accessories that they require! And while we are enjoying Hazel being a teeny tiny baby, we also can't wait for her to grow up because we're curious to see if she'll take after the oldest one, Claire (who is the girly girl of the bunch...loves high heels, makeup, hairbows, clothes, nailpolish etc), or if she'll take after Lyza (the self-entertained, happy-go-lucky one).

If only I would have taken a photo of my family room (where this shoot took place) as this shoot was going on, it would have been comical, I'm sure. You can't even imagine the number of bags, hair straighteners, hairbows, baby legs, skirts, nailpolish and shirts that were scattered throughout. It looked like a tornado had been through Sangar Studios! Ha!

Now, onto the good stuff. The pics. Meet my lovely nieces, Lyza (left), Hazel (middle) and Claire (right)! Did I mention that they are all under 3.5 years old??!!

And here's the whole gang...

Here's little Lyza Bug being Lyza Bug.

Hazel slept through most of the chaos!

Claire was a posing FOOL! She kept coming up with some of the craziest poses.

(0)

Monkey see, monkey do! Lyza picks up on everything Claire does. And yes, the motto in the DeShong household is surely "It's Good to Be A Girl."

It won't be long before Hazel holds her own against her big sisters!

Being goofy, as usual.

The picture Jess has been envisioning ever since the day that Hazel's ultrasound declared that girl #3 was on the way!

I love my girlies!

And I apologize for the incredibly annoying song to accompany the slideshow, but I couldn't think of anything more perfect than it! I was actually laughing as I was putting the slideshow together because it's so fitting:) Enjoy!

As I mentioned above, Jude and I (as well as my mom) were in the room as Hazel was being delivered. The doctor was cracking up at how intently Jude was watching. What can I say...he was anxious to meet his new cousin! They're exactly 9 weeks apart!

Jude and Hazel...BFFs.
